My first assignment at Grants Office in 2004 was to develop a brief, flashy movie to accompany a new running promotion for our database service. Database services are a rather bland thing to promote, nothing really tangible, but I took what little information I had and generated a brief pop-up flash movie to promote the services in the best possible light.

The applet was developed using Flash MX and was fairly basic but did feature an animated pre-loader, dynamicly generated movie clips, and a scripted ticker. The original can still be viewed off of the Grants Office main website available at the link above.
