The original design for the HSF.info website was designed entirely by a local Rochester agency. My job at Grants Office was to pick up where they left off, the .infos (all 8 of them) then became my responsibility. New .infos had to be created for clients quickly and cleanly. Fortunately I had a good framework to go with. Unfortunately none of the code was standards compliant, tables were everywhere, and the person before me had been using Macromedia Contribute and there were, literally, over 8,000 files and not a single SSI. As a sort of combined collaboration, I designed this and several other .infos "from scratch" but with the original framework at-hand. I would have liked to redesign them entirely as the area for content was barely 250pixels wide, and they were updated on a daily basis thus a database would have made the entire updating process easier.
